Hey folks. Anyone ever replaced the original one wire coil on the 122? Does this coil weaken with age? Is there an advantage to going with a newer, "hotter" coil, and how would one modify the wiring to accept the more modern coil? I don`t relish the thought of cutting into the armored cable going to the ignition switch. Thoughts and experiences?
