You said, "As mentioned by somebody else, DOT 5 is not hygroscopic like most glycol fluids. This means that any moisture will collect and settle to the lowest points - bottom of each caliper."
But since it does NOT attract or dissolve moisture, unless you put moisture
in there, there isn't any. Glycol DOES attract moisture - that is why you
get so much corrosion in humid climates. In 13 years of 12 or more hours per
day of 100% humidity, I saw no evidence of moisture in any of my systems
(3 of them).
