cold/hot start problem 700

This is my daughters car, a 90 740 ti with 10,000 miles on a completed rebuild, car has 200,000. Seems to be related to outside temps. the car has a rough idle for a time and then clears its self and runs great. Once and a while it will just turn over and not start, then will start after awhile.

New parts include complete tune up, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fpr, coolant temp sensor. All of the injectors have a nice spray. I disconnected the cold start injector but the problem is still occurring.

Finally took it to a trusted mechanic, [he did the overhaul in 04], for a fuel pressure test, pressure was fine even when he got the car to act up at start. He seems to think it has to be the computer the last three numbers are 967, I have 2 computers one from a 90 740ti, and one from a 90 780ti, both of them end in 536 can I try one of those or will they not work.

In searching one of the posts said to check the ICV, I cleaned it well.

What are we missing. I am tired of her using one of our cars.

Thanks for any help.
