240 interior/exterior panels

To expand on my last post:

Most interior parts from a later model 240 will fit (bolt into) your '85 car. Volvo seemed to go back and forth on seat and door panel fabrics - door panels on my 90' are different from those on an '87, but I've seen an '89 car that had identical interior to my old (and much missed) '83 turbo.

New style headrest was introduced in '86 - these won't fit your car. On station wagons, the rear seat back latch was also changed. If you install a newer rear seat, you'll need the fittings the seat latches into.

On sheet metal, sheet metal from firewall back on newer 240 wagons will fit your car. If you need hood and/or front fenders, you'll need a pre-86 donor.

I have a nice, rust-free pre-86 hood and a buddy has good fenders - let me know if you are interested?
