Here is some more info for those who can read the diagram..

The SB connector in question can be seen on the right - BL-R being one of the wires. It has three connectors, same as the 88.

I have the lead connector from the harness in hand that goes to the 88 cluster. #1 wire is white, # 2 is black, and #3 is red/blue - corresponding with the BL-R wire on the diagram. The 4th wire on the 89 lead connector is a yellow/green wire - if I recall (back in car for the moment with the orig 89 cluster).

Can I use it? Can you help?
