Hi Wren,

From what I've seen and my recollections, I don't believe the later evap with the rounded ends will fit the earlier units. Compare the one you see in here http://cleanflametrap.com/heater_core/ with the one you just pulled. Won't fit.

However, the 134A kit for the models through 1990 includes an evap made for the earlier box.

In Shakespeare's time, mattresses were secured on bed frames by ropes when you pulled on the ropes the mattress tightened, making the bed firmer to sleep on. Hence the phrase "goodnight, sleep tight".
