There is a point 120-130

There is a point at which impact forces make any car unable to keep occupants from harm. Obviously that point was reached for many in that crash.
One has to remember that the difference between a Chevy Sprint and good Volvo is about 40 mph, in that the Volvo will be survivable for a few miles per hour more. Which is why my daughter drives one.
That was a nasty accident. Very sad.
