I'm not trying to be smart Gregory, but, join the club!
My 1800 had its suspension completely rebuilt, new springs, shocks, and all bushings before its owner really checked the body. The fact that the entire car had undercoating on it, including the interior and the trunk should have been a clue!
Then he stripped it and sold all the stuff on ebay.
I started with a hulk that had a good drivetrain, great suspension, and NOTHING else.
If you can find a good shell, grab it! Look at how many 1800s are being stripped on ebay.
My plan - A pseudo race car, plenty of patches and reinforcements, and fun to drive.
Good luck
