I second Tim's firewall blanket, great stuff. For noise reduction there is some dynomat clone available from McMaster Carr. Check my pages under http://www.homestead.com/volvo2/Soundproofing.html for part numbers.


All the grommets are available from vintage import parts http://www.vintageimportparts.com/ I use Olof for all my 1800/210 parts, he has most small stuff (and lots of large) in stock and gets everthing else quickly.

Everything I've heard is also against wrapping headers, it holds moisture when not running/hot and accelerates rust.
