When did the 200's get the 3sp + OD transmissions?

Looks like the Haynes manual struck again as it says the AW70's weren't installed on the B21 engines like I have. Another example of taking the Haynes manual with a grain of salt.

Do the 3 sp autos and the 3 sp + overdrive units use the same drive shaft? I'm looking at putting this OD transmission into a car that as a BW55.
