I went to one of our local classic car nights on Friday and someone came over to look at my car. We began the usual talk and he mentioned that his dad, back when, installed 'woody kits' specifically made for the P210 as a dealer installed option. There were reportedly a dozen or so installed around the NYC area. I spoke to him for some time and my initial skepticism soon gave way to belief. Very interesting to me because I never ever heard about something like this, nor have I ever seen any photos.
I'm not looking to do this to my car any more but I am curious from a historical perspective whether any one here has more specific info.
BTW, for any Long Islanders (or maybe Eastern Connecticuters that don't mind a Cross-Sound Ferry trip), the Beach Hut classic Car nights (Fridays) in Hampton Bays are pretty spectacular.
