So far I've been operating the OD with a toggle switch with no problems. Recently bought one of those shifter knobs with a push button for OD activation. I have an array of old relays from 240s, 140s and 120s and have a guild on what each connector does, in a basic and confusing kind of way.
I've tried a few relays with the knob switch but can't find either the right relay or the right connection combination which leaves the OD solinoid on after I release the button. It's only on if I hold down the button. What kind of relay and hook up would I use to use the button on the knob and have the solinoid remain on? I have the right tranny switch so that it only works in 4th.
