700 brake light failure

Awesome help everyone! I ended upgoing the junkyard route and got two for $10 just incase it decides to blow again in the future. Funny thing is that I didn't trace the wires at all because after removing the red cylinder and giving it a sniff it smelled like it was toast! -figured that was the culprit.
