I had a window drop into the door of my '67 just as a huge thunderstorm was moving in.
I was stuck with few tools, but had to get the door handle off to get the chain back on the sprocket and wind the door up.
I FOUND a coathanger in the dust next to my Amazon, beat it with a rock into a tight hook, and got the clip off in seconds.
Within 10 minutes the window and door were back together and the rain started pouring.
I was either lucky or resourceful that day. I now have a proper tool, but doubt it will be as smooth next time.
Kept my floorboards dry, though!
