yes the rod is present.

Okay so the U piece goes on the end of the rod right? or are you talking about the piece that rotates on the tranny lever (that the rod connects to). The only adjustable piece i see is almost at the end of the rod. Also, there was a washer on the ground, if that helps. No nylon bushing either.

I think i get it, just making sure.
