B21 FT rebuild question about oil pump 200 1981

I am rebuilding my b21 ft engine out of my 81 240. Now should i replace the oil pump in it or would you suggest to replace the spring, gears and seals which I have already done.
please let me know what you think would be a good idea.
cost wise replacing the whole pump is not a good idea, but could that come back to bite me in the ass?????
