It sort of doesn't matter. Just because some company blends a motor oil for Wal-Mart doesn't mean that said oil is similar to things they make under other labels. If you follow such things, there have been reports of multiple suppliers for Wal-Mart by region, phase of moon, etc.
If you want bargain priced synthetic oil from a known supplier, score some of the Shell Rotella-T Synthetic 5W-40 one sometimes sees in gallons at Wal-Mart. Some people see Rotella and immediately think diesel, but this is a dual rated gas/diesel oil and works well in most Volvos.
If you want a thinner oil like 5W-30 or 10W-30 then the best bargain in quality for the dollar right now is probably Pennzoil Platinum in the 5 quart jugs at WallyWorld. Only a couple of bucks more than SuperTech Mystery Oil and the Platinum is a first class product.
