Thanks again. It does seem like a simple project. Yes I have read about using the Ford unit and will search that out. There also are Bosch 3 wire universal units around that might fill the bill, at a reasonable price. I will put this on my list of things to do in the next couple of weeks. I will get back to the board with any results. Thanks again.
