Taking your comments into consideration I am only going to remove the thermostat but keep the rest of the airbox. I'm sure you're right that I won't see any improvement, but the thermostat is just dead weight now. I am going to have to find something else to do to improve mpg. I know you can get 34mpg out of these cars. Down to the junkyard tomorrow to get an engine undertray.
