compatibility question 200

Man I'd love to find one with miles that low.

Save the late one, scrap the 89. 89 is the worst year of 240s for fuel injection computer reliability.

But yeah other than my opinion, the parts all work just fine. Engine is essentially identical, some accessories are different. Wiring harness is all different, different plugs in a lot of locations. Engine-side stuff is mostly the same.

The 92-93 used a PS pump with built in reservoir, vs your remote reservoir. The AC on 91-92 is different and easier to convert to R134. The 93 came with R134. The 93 has the different timing belt.

93 should have power, heated outside mirrors. There are a lot of nice little things about the late cars that earlier ones don't have: a ground wire on the wiper motor, little stuff like that.

But they are more of a pain to work on under the dash- the 90-up knee bolster has to come out to do just about anything.
