Replace the coolant temp sensor before you spend a lot of time going bonkers. The LH system is VERY dependent on its input for cold starting, and if it's out of range - will substitiute the equivalent of 0 deg C (32F). It is the sender below #3 intake port. The one you find at #2 is for the dash gauge.
