I replaced the flame trap this afternoon, and would like to share a few observations I made. It was unnecessary to remove the distributor cap. Instead, I took off the IAC, and there was enough room for me to get to the two hoses that attach to the plastic housing piece. I then removed the hoses, took the old trap out, installed the new one, and put everything back together. In all it took me over two hours-mostly because I spent an hour and forty-five minutes just looking at the engine bay trying to ascertain my best plan of attack. Next time, it will take ten minutes :) Have a splendid evening one and all!
