Front Wheel Stud Replacement 200 1993

Did this last week on my '93 - I had to take the stud to the grinder and remove a bit of the lip, then slid it down past the ABS ring thingy. I didn't have to remove enough of the head/lip of the stud to compromise it's strength.

I was wondering the same thing, a Brickboard search turned up nearly nothing, except one post where someone gave the grinding advice. Also said the ABS ring would break/bend if you tried to remove it? I'm not sure about that, but a little grinding was definitely the way to go. I looked at it this way - even with the grinding, the stud has to be far stronger than a stripped one.

Good luck.
