block heater plug-ins for sub-zero temps? 200

That's a nice heater set up that you have in your Volvo. I'm not trying to hijack the thread, but I have a question about the green light in your instrument cluster that is in the far left hand side of your photo: What is that light for? My car has it and it lights for a minute or so after the engine is started and then goes out. I looked in the owner's manual and there is no reference to it. I would like to know if there is a problem someplace.
