Thanks for all the help guys!
I went out and decided i was going to pull the whole unit out as
when I took off the defroster hose adapter trying to get at the
bottom drain; I encountered a inch of sludge in the bottom of the
heaterbox.
I pulled the whole unit out and took it apart and spent the good
part of the day cleaning all the rust, grime, and some things I
can't even begin to describe out of it.
Note: Jim and I had pulled the fan motor out and
cleaned out the stuff that was on top of the
heater core when we/he did the tune-up.
I could see where the hose attached and where it was supposed
to come out at the top but there was no sign of a hole....ha ha ha!
I had to dig down a ways just to find the opening of it.
I first took a coat hanger to it and finished by running
a rag all the way through it.
Both holes drain exceptionally well now; and I know how to
remove, disassemble, reassemble, and reinstall the entire
heater assembly so I am very happy now!
Thanks again guys for all the help!!!!
Cheers,
Karl
