Yes, it did appear that the wheels were off center at the hub. I'd hate to be your kid -- your powers of observations wouldn't leave much chance of getting away with much monkey business.

Most likely one needs to know what you are doing to fix it with a BFH. Once a good set of wheels are on hand I might take a shot at straightening the bent ones.
