No mirrors came stock with this particular car. The dealer may have put those on for the original owner, but he might have done it himself. When I got the car in '05 it had some odd-looking door mounted mirrors that were sort of "aerodynamic." I thought that those looked awful and I put a pair of the clip on variety until I came up with two stud-mounted volvo mirrors earlier this year.

I guess you could argue that those mirrors are as period-correct as is possible in the US market.
