I looked all over for that resistor and couldn't find it. Turns out it's only on 88+ 760s and 91+ 740s, the ones with the new style dash.

If you went from 185/70 14 to 185/65 15 or 195/60 15, the difference should be minimal, as the 15" tires have a shorter sidewall, and the overall diameter is very close to the same. If you are using a different tire size, you'll just have to live with it.
