740 Brake Bleeding Problem 700 1988

• MC Front goes to Front upper cylinders, Rear left caliper.
• MC Rear goes to Front lower cylinders, Rear right caliper.

You can go up with pressure if you want to. Greenbook says 29—44 psi for pressure bleeding (professional bleeder assumed).

700/900 Greenbook bleed sequence for '88 up: "Bleed one rear wheel, second rear wheel and front wheels in that order". Also implies that Front (2-piston) bleeding should be lower, then upper, on a given caliper.

IMO, the MC would have to have a LOT of air in order to show anything but a hard pedal when capped. I don't think that test tells you much, unless you have totally shot piston seals.
