Others will chime in with the specifics, but I believe the 123 was the 'GT' model, with a warmed up engine, dash mounted tach and a bunch of other mechanical and cosmetic goodies. Sort of the 'deluxe' model of the Amazon.

In general we just call all amazons 122's (122 wagon, 122 two-door, etc. etc.), even though it's not technically correct,
