What little I know 1800

Here's what little I know. The wheels are identical in early model 1800s and amazons. later model 1800 (~1970) use a different bolt circle pattern but use the same size tires. Very late 1800s (like my 73 es) are a tad wider than the early volkswagon tires that all 122s and 1800s come with.

If they look the same, then your 1800 wheels should bolt right on. If the 1800 wheels look more like 140 wheels or are alloy wheels then they probably won't work on your 122 without modifications.

I'm not sure why this info is not up at some static location. The question comes up quite a bit. Those who know, know. Those who don't know, still don't know.
