Directional Indicators and wipers are on Fuse1 and Headlights and probably radio are supplied by other circuits...
Cleaning those fuse ends (particularily F1) and treating with anti-corrosive Zink Paste is a good start, but this sounds like the classic symptoms of a poor/intermittent connection at Fuse1 which may require a fuseblock rework... Suggested reading: http://sw-em.com/gastight.htm
BTW..."shorts" blow fuses...poor connections cause poor operation AMP light to go ON and other wierdnesses.
