Hey Ken,

Well, the starter in this thing has 2 solenoids, one of which is on the +batt terminal.

I've included a photo of what enabled me to start the car, though sometimes instead of cranking the engine, the starter just whirrs. Never could get the thing out of the car.

So it goes. that car can be a real nightmare...
