The dreaded smell of maple syrup S90-V90

Epilogue: I order a replacement (all metal) from radiatorbarn.com. It cost $160 delivered. When I tried to pulle the hose of the top fittin on the original radiator, the entire fitting broke of in my hand. Good thing I didn't take the car out ont he highway for 9 hours like that. The aftermarket radiator fit okay, but i had to flatten a piece of metal on the car (driver's side, riht by the lower hose fitting, there is a long metal tab that was preventing me from fitting the hose).

As for the tranny line fittings, I soaked them in WD40 the night before. Soaked them in the morning, and then soaked them on more time before doing the job. They came of without a fight. In fact it was harder to put the fittings back on.

Anyway, the car is happy now, and it ran a like a champ all the way from Asheville to Pittsburgh. Thanks for the advice, guys!
