Wind Noise - 780 700

Hi, I have a 91' 780. I have noticed the last year or so that air (and some water if in a car wash) is coming in on the drivers window at the top left-hand corner of the window. This is if you are in the car. I looked at the rubber seal that fits in the door frame and it looks OK, it had split a bit where it joins right where the air is getting in so I put a bit of caulking there.

It is getting worse so I would like to fix this. Do you suppose it is the seal or possibly the door is not closing tight enough? To my knowledge the car has never been in an accident.
