check engine light on.........but the only code is 1-1-1..???? 200

On the 700 series, fault codes are read from 2 different sockets on the OBD. I assume the 200's are the same way. Have you cleared them both? You might have to try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and see if that clears it.
