HI !
I had 205/60-15 Michelin`s fitted in Virgo- wheels, I drove about 200km whith them, mostly in ice and snow. Conclusion was, that they were "steady" Not any grip, to start ( car has LS-rear end) When I brake, it takes a lot more meters, than before ( 195/65-15 ) In curves, it was quickly in sideways, slippery. It was an interesting experience, icetrack feels like all studs were missing. My opinnion is that too wide tires are not good in real winter use. It was useless to take eaven time in the ice-track, differences can see just own eyes. Me and my friends tested this, because many guys considers wider tires in their cars. Tires were both Michelin Ivalo whith studs, both drove under 1000 km. Anyway in tarmac streets wider size was steadier, so If You drive mostly whithout slippery wheater,it is another thing. But if You fitted 215/60-15 tire, you must have 7-15" wheels, that the tire works propely. 6" is too thin. BTW: I use in my daily use NOKIAN`s Hakkapeliitta size 185/80-14. Unfortunaly they have stopped manufacturing, but those are fine in snow and ice.
