I'm not making my point -- check this 700 1992

This is "Lucid" (Bruce), not Art.

I guess my "Cranky" post was too wordy, so my main point got missed. I say this because you still seem to think the Bosch feed pump will replace the Regina main pump:

"So, I have a 1986 B230FT sitting in the driveway I recently retired and pulled the sender assembly out of it and saw that functionally they look the same. Steve Ringlee looked up the specs between the two pumps and saw that the Bosch Pump consumed less current, produced a higher flow rate so I am putting the Bosh Sender assembly into the 1992 Regina."

The point is that Steve's flow rates compare the Bosch MAIN (under car) pump to the Regina MAIN (in tank) pump.

But you are trying to fit a Bosch FEED pump, which looks like the Regina pump but is not the same at all), which I tried to emphasize by "borrowing" the picture from Art's site to show you that the Regina pump is longer.

That coupler that they buggered (pulse dampener) can be replaced by a length of Submersible Grade fuel hose. Gates product #42195185, part # 27093, Napa parts #H209. Comes in 1 foot lengths and 5/16 ID, but costs about $20USD/foot.
