I am guessing Mercedes did well in Texas in the 80s? I used to buy and sell used cars from auction to pay for school, and we used to see dozens of them at the auctions in Oklahoma City with Texas tags on them. Most were luxury models, the 500SE and SLs. Not too many Volvos though.
