I would try to find a 97 or 98 model just for the fact that the later year cars didn't have the egr valve on them-The timing belt on the car that your considering of course will need changed along with pullies and water pump and tensioner and serp belt-if you do the job yourself your looking at about 450 in parts-you want to be sure that you put gen Volvo parts back in considering the
t belt and hardware-don't scrimp there-if anything goes wrong there the top of the engine will need to be rebuilt.
