1990 740 coolant temp sensors

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. They are simple devices, and can be accurately checked for proper function by measuring resistance with a DVOM. Then use the resistance/temp chart in the Bentley, Chilton's or other manual to see if it is in spec.

Or post back here with the resistance measurement, and temp readings, and someone could check the chart for you.
