What Next ???????????????????????? 700 1992

Thanks for your help and expertise with the Sender and Pump Motor.

It's all very much appreciated, I think I'm almost getting a clue about the bricks, that's a scary thought.

My Old Beemers were fun to work on too, I mostly liked them because not too many knew a lot about how to make and old 320 run good - gave the appearance of me being smarter than I actually am !

The Bosch FI Systems in the E21s had a wafer type Air Meter that sat in a bowl and floated up and down as the vacuum increased and decreased through the intake manifold as the engine revved - a pin on the bottom of the support arm for the plate controlled the flow of fuel out of the Fuel Distributor valve to the injectors - so they were a bit more mechanical than the Volvos are, and of course, I never had a Turbo Beemmer,

Now, there's a thought, maybe this summer I can buy an old E21 and try to stick that B230FT engine from my '86 740 wagon into a little E21..Set it up with Bilstiens and an ANTI Sway bar and stiiffener from Bavarian Auto Sport.......

I can see the divorce papers coming up the driveway now.......I'll stick with the Volvo instead, they are cheaper and less aggrivating than the alternative...

:-)
