Strange noise in engine

My 744Ti manual transmission with ~210,000 mi on the clock just had the turbo replaced about 10,000 ago. Recently, there has been a light noise coming from the engine bay as the turbo gauge is about 1/2 way up, meaning boost is just starting. The noise is not evident when I'm really on the gas, or at idle, just inbetween... any ideas would be greatly appreciated.. Have a great day.
