Earlier I said, "...So, at 60MPH the engine is turning either 3330RPM or 3703RPM."
I got to thinking about the axle ratio and RPM ranges and realized:
At 100KPH the engine is turning 3450RPM or 3838RPM. The torque peak (DIN) for the B18B with a C grind cam occurs at 3800RPM. The A grind; 3400RPM. HMMM...
That's why the paid the big bucks to the guys with the sliderules. ;-)
