Just a minor point - the 1/2-20 UNF is a dimension in Imperial measure. The other measurement system is Metric. SAE is an organisation devoted to our favourite vocation and avocation, but deals in both Imperial and metric measurement systems.
I have been unable to find a tap of the correct pitch to match the rather coarse thread form of the 740. The factory supplied nuts are cheap though.
