Find out if there's some way to check if the fuel pump is operating. If that thing goes, there's no gasoline.

If that's okay, try this: Go to the parts store and get one of those spark testers. It's a light that connects between the spark plug and the coil pack. Have someone turn the key, and then see if the tester lights up. If it doesn't occasionally blink, that means you've got an ignition problem.
