Or, if you put a wagon speedometer in a sedan and then put wagon-spec tires on it, the speedo won't be lying. Your performance will take a very small hit, and your actual mpgs might increase slightly.

Wagon tires = 185/R-14.
Close match = 195/75-14; that size can be found and is fairly economical.
