A LOT of things changed in 69, especially on the 1800 but maybe on the 122
also. I think they went to dual-circuit brakes and some other things that
had already appeared on the 67 and 68 140s. They have the later steering
wheel, different heater control, POSSIBLY B20 engine and HIF6 carbs, etc.
While I was in Panama I got a 69 model front hub to replace one with terminal
damage (spectacular bearing failure) and had to do a little mod on it to get it
to fit right on the disk, but I don't remember (about 20 years ago) exactly
what it was. I was able to make it work though, so it was not the newer
4 ΒΌ" bolt circle. If you have wheels they may be the wider wagon wheels.
I believe they had the ignition switch that locked the steering column like the
140s and also came with an alternator rather than a generator. SEV/Motorola,
I think.
If I remember anything else I will add it later.
