For what it's worth, here's my two cents.

The original dash pads are available, but quite expensive. Plus you have to disassemble the entire dash, gaugues, etc.

I installed the plastic covers and nobody can tell they are not the real thing.

If you do install the real pads, let us know the degree of difficulty, time spent, please.
