Also, if it did jump time, since spark will be off, that will flood the cyclinders with gas also and no start. You need to see what is working correctly. If you got spark, fuel, compression, timing. I had 3 instanteous of a no start but had all of those, 1-battery sounded good, but not enough guts to fire up,2-cam sprocket roll pin sheared and moved timing about 30degrees,3- Cat blew completely out and plugged the exhaust where it travels over the rear axle.
1-Read this here, jumped fired right up.
2-Didn't find it till put a timing light on it, no light on #1 but intermittent on #3
3-This took awhile to figure.
